About Bruce Bond

A graduate of the Lamont School of Music, Bruce Bond has performed numerous guitar styles for the past forty years. His teachers include guitarists Christopher Parkening, Angel Romero, Ben Verdery, and Ricardo Iznaola, jazz musicians Karl Berger, Leo Smith, Bill Douglass, Paul McCandless, and Joseph Jarman, and the composers Donald Keats and David Diamond. However, it is his mentor Ralph Towner who most influenced his style of improvisation, which blends elements of jazz, folk, and classical music.
