About Bruce Bond

A graduate of the Lamont School of Music, Bruce Bond has performed numerous guitar styles for the past forty years. His teachers have included the guitarists Christopher Parkening, Angel Romero, Ben Verdery, and Ricardo Iznaola, jazz musicians Karl Berger, Leo Smith, Bill Douglass, Paul McCandless, and Joseph Jarman, and the composers Donald Keats and David Diamond, but it is his mentor Ralph Towner who most influenced his style of improvisation that blends elements of jazz, folk, and classical music.
